This fall promises a box office bounty,with a number of reliable film franchises and Oscar-hopeful films. Paul Thomas Anderson's sixth directed film "The Master" is among the films in September, with a chilling depiction of the start of a cult-like religion, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman as a charlatan at the center and Joaquin Phoenix as his right hand man. The film also stars Amy Adams, and is said to be based on the founding of Scientology. Also opening in September in the United Kingdom and November in the United States, "Anna Karenina" starring Kiera Knightley. It's the thirteenth big screen adaptation of the classic Russian novel by Leo Tolstoy, about a 19th-century Russian aristocratic woman who enters into a life-changing and brow-raising affair with an affluent count. The film also stars Jude Law and Emily Watson. Opening November 2, "Flight" stars two-time Oscar-winner Denzel Washington as an airline pilot who miraculously lands a plane that malfunctions mid-flight, only to have his heroism challenged with the revelation that he had alcohol in his blood. The Steven Spielberg-directed biopic "Lincoln, " opens in November, with two-time Academy Award-winning actor Daniel Day Lewis, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the 16th U.S. President taking on the role. 007 is also back in November with the 23rd film in the James Bond spy series, starring Daniel Craig as Bond and Dame Judi Dench as his boss, M, as the pair try to figure out a plot to kill undercover MI6 agents. Opening November 16th, the fifth and final film in its series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is the epic conclusion to the megalith franchise that has so far grossed over 4 billion dollars in box office sales. The film stars recently broken-up couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. "Django Unchained" has a Christmas day release date. The film, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Jamie Foxx telling the story of a slave-turned-bounty hunter.
