The show must go on. Even in Paris, where rain soaked the city for Nuit Blanche, the annual outdoor art festival which draws thousands of tourists and locals every year. Nuit Blanche translates to "night of light" or "sleepless night" and this year's all-evening celebration stayed true to the theme, featuring one hundred performances and exhibits. And art-lovers who preferred to stay dry could duck indoors to admire other contemporary works of art. Monuments were illuminated along Paris' river Seine, which was the star of this year's festival.
