SHOTLIST: LONDON, OCTOBER 11, 2012. SOURCE: AFP -Slow focus pull establishing shot on cocktail bars range of optics and drinks -Salvatore Calabrese (S.C) introduces his attempt to make the most expensive cocktail in the world. "Altogether, the year combined together of this drink is 730 years. Now if anyone can beat that, good luck to him." -S.C. continues his introduction (shot from lower angle). "So you're going to forgive me if I'm going to be a bit nervous. Right, I'm going to have steady hands." -S.C. begins his record attempt. "Right, are you going to give me the go-ahead? Are you all ready, guys? (yeah!) Okay..." -S.C. explains his plans with the four ingredients that he will be using. "Okay, I'm going to show...going to talk you through what I'm going to do." -Close up on hands removing stopper from bottle. S.C. slowly manages to open one of the vintage bottles safely, much to his obvious relief. Smells bottle then takes gasp of air before joking that he needs his make-up checking. -S.C adds one of the four ingredients to his mixing glass. -S.C. adds ice to the near-completed cocktail, before stirring it as applause begins. -S.C holds the finished cocktail up for the assembled guests. "Not only the oldest, you know the most expensive cocktail in the world but also guys remember; 730 years of history, okay? Truly, liquid history in a glass."
