At least two dozen animals died while filming 'The Hobbit' in New Zealand. Wranglers say the animals died because of hazardous conditions at an off-site farm where they were being held. 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson's spokesperson confirmed the report, even saying that at least 2 cases could have been avoided.
