Newt Gingrich famously predicted in December 2011 that he would be the Republican nominee and then in October that Mitt Romney would easily beat Barack Obama 53-47, capture more than 300 electoral votes and that Republicans would regain control of the Senate. With a track record like that you gotta wonder why Fox News host Greta Van Susteren lets Gingrich insist the fiscal cliff is artificial.
