ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The A-list cast of the new Les Miserables film hit the red carpet in London on Wednesday (December 05) for the World Premiere. Based on the long-running stage musical and classic novel by Victor Hugo the film's stars include Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Helena Bonham Carter. Hathaway dazzled in front of photographers in a Givenchy dress before revealing she's still getting used to having short hair after she had to have her head shaved while playing the role of Fantine, an out of work mother who turns to prostitution. Les Miserables is due to open in the US on Christmas Day and in the UK early next year.
