ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Damian Lewis, who plays a returning Iraq veteran turned by al Qaeda in TV hit "Homeland", returned to the UK on Tuesday (January 15) after winning the best actor gong at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles. "Homeland", the post-9/11 American psychological thriller, has swept television awards including at Sunday's (January 13) Golden Globes, where it won awards for best drama as well as a best actress award for Claire Danes in her role as a bipolar CIA officer. Now two seasons old, one of its Israeli co-creators said "Homeland" could run for years to come. Gideon Raff, whose Israeli television drama "Hatufim" inspired "Homeland" and who has co-written the U.S. show, told Israel's Army Radio on Monday (January 14) that the Claire Danes character could generate several more seasons.
