Elton John and David Furnish have become fathers for a second time. Their new baby boy was born on January 11, reportedly via the same surrogate mother who carried their son Zachary in 2010. The couple named the baby Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John. Conrad Bain has died. The actor became a household name in the 1980s, playing opposite Gary Coleman in the TV series "Diff'rent Strokes." He died Monday night (January 14) in California. He was was 89. Finally, jailed Pussy Riot member Maria Alyokhina lost an appeal to a Russian court to be freed from prison and defer her sentence. The singer is serving two-years for a protest against President Vladimir Putin. She had asked the court to free her from jail and to serve her sentence at a later date, so she could care for her 5-year old son. The court rejected the appeal, adding that her family situation had been properly taken into account during her trial.
