It's not a party for the timid. At the posh district of London's East End the DVD release of the horror movie "The Helpers" was celebrated with a party to die for. This decapitated female head is the center piece and is in fact made from orange drizzle cake with marzipan skin and berry fruit 'blood'. Guests could wash the gruesome delight away with blood cocktail from a bath tub - staged after a murder scene from the movie. The event is the brainchild of organizer Emma Thomas who says that companies in the murderous movie promotion industry need to find original ways to stand out. SOUNDBITE: EMMA THOMAS, AKA 'MISS CAKEHEAD', EVENT ORGANISER, SAYING (English) "PR is changing, so the tactics of four or five years ago won't work. There's no such thing as a picture story, I think that celebrities are really boring, and I think that actually what PR companies need is inventive and new concepts that people will be interested in." But aren't laceration cupcakes and vomit cocktails going a bit too far? From eyeball to eyeball attendees here don't seem to think so and screaming only adds to the fun.
