A son-in-law of Osama bin Laden was arrested in Jordan and then brought to New York, in an operation led by Jordanian authorities and the FBI. U.S. government sources said Suleiman Abu Ghaith, who appeared in videos representing al Qaeda after the Sept. 11, attacks, had initially been picked up in Turkey. White House spokesman Jay Carney had little to say on the development. (SOUNDBITE) (English) WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN JAY CARNEY SAYING: "I have nothing for you on that, no confirmation." Republican Senator Lindsey Graham wants him treated as an enemy combatant. (SOUNDBITE) (English) REPUBLICAN SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM, SAYING: "We believe very firmly that the Congress has tried to tell the Administration, when it comes to people like this, that we want them to go to Gitmo, to be held in military custody for interogation purposes. " Abu Ghaith is now being held in a detention facility in the New York City area and is expected to be charged and eventually brought to trial in federal court.
