Giving new meaning to a delicious looking outfit, nine Japanese pastry chefs whipped up a collection of sweet-tooth inspired, edible clothing. Their works hit the cat walk in Tokyo - and while the majority of the concoctions concentrated on head gear, delectable munchies also covered shoes, bags, and gowns. The wearable edibles required slightly different recipes than the norm, said designer and chef Toshihiko Yoroizuka. SOUNDBITE: Toshihiko Yoroizuka saying (Japanese): "Well, sweets are a kind of cuisine so of course the most important thing is taste, however, for the fashion show, well, for example it's not about cooking the macaroon for the best flavor but rather making it beautiful, even perhaps cooking it to be a bit harder than usual, the intent is to create something that will inspire and look beautiful." The Tokyo Sweets Collection is an annual event now in its fifth year, but unfortunately for the fashion conscious - and the hungry - the outfits are not available for sale, to wear or to eat.
