Steve Carell and Jim Carrey worked their magic on the red carpet in Hollywood Monday for the world premiere of their comedy 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone'. The movie tells the story of superstar magician Wonderstone, played by Carell, who with his colleague Anton Marvelton rules the Las Vegas strip. But they face cutthroat competition from Carrey's guerilla street magician Steve Gray, whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt. For Carrell, the chance to work with Carrey was a magical experience. SOUNDBITE: Steve Carrell, actor, saying (English): "He sets the bar very high I will say that, it's a sense of camaraderie, not a sense of competition with somebody like that. He is inspiring to watch and he is inspiring to perform with." Carrey says he created his role from watching several different magicians. SOUNDBITE: Jim Carrey, actor, saying (English): "People ask me if I did Criss Angel in this movie and it wasn't really Criss Angel. I definitely watched and was a fan of Criss Angel and David Copperfield and Blaine. But, I basically molded them all together and thought what's the next step, you know." Veteran Vegas magician was a consultant on the movie which opens in the United States on March 15.
