The top-selling and award-winning British folk band play Munich as part of their European tour.

Mumford & Sons are possibly the biggest band in the world right now. Their record-breaking second album "Babel" topped charts internationally, was praised by music critics, and even scooped the Best Album award at the recent Grammys. Last night, they played a packed out venue in Munich as part of a European tour. SOUNDBITE: Marcus Mumford, singer, saying: "We are just focussed on the gigs really. We are trying not to focus on the media or even the awards rubbish or Album sales or charts or anything like that. That stuff goes a lot - you know - happens and we know it happens and stuff but we like to distract ourselves and just focus on the gigs." The band also won a Grammy for Best Longform Video with "Big Easy Express" a rock-doc which followed their tour back in 2011. SOUNDBITE: Ted Dwane, bass player, saying: "The video is just another thing that we deem a slight distraction, really. We really understand gigs, and we love writing songs and literally everything else is a bit of distraction." Since the band shot to fame back in 2009, they have shown no signs of slowing down, and have absolutely no plans of believing their own hype. SOUNDBITE: Marcus Mumford, singer, saying: "That stuff happens outside our world, really, we don't really understand it or follow it. So that's the stuff everyone sees from the media and stuff.
