Reports have surfaced saying NBC plans to relocate "The Tonight Show" from Los Angeles back to New York as well as replace Jay Leno with Jimmy Fallon. The New York Times is reporting NBC has not completed the deal, but it has made a commitment to Fallon, the current host of its "Late Night" program, to have him succeed Leno. NBC has confirmed they are building a new studio for Fallon at its 30 Rockefeller Plaza headquarters in Manhattan - but nothing more. Fallon's show currently airs immediately after "The Tonight Show".
