Angelina Jolie held a press conference in Shanghai on Tuesday (June 3) to promote her film, "Maleficient." The Oscar-winning star got a special surprise - a cake for her birthday, complete with a mini-Maleficent character. She'll celebrate her 39th birthday on Wednesday (June 4), but Jolie already had reason to celebrate: her film has earned 170 million dollars worldwide. It opens in China at the end of June. Jonah Hill has apologized for using a homophobic slur against a paparazzi photographer. Hill was caught on video snapping at a cameraman who was badgering him. The actor appeared on Howard Stern's radio show saying that he was sorry and that there was no excuse for his language. Lorde has announced an extensive North American tour. The two-time Grammy Award-winning singer perviously had a limited sold out U.S. tour in March, but she'll now hit more than 21 cities, beginning in Philadelphia in September and wrapping in Austin in October. The tour promotes her critically acclaimed debut album "Pure Heroine." Finally, Rihanna hit the red carpet for the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York and turned heads in a see-through sparkling gown that left nothing to the imagination. The sheer gown was decked out with more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals. Rihanna was being honored with the Council's Fashion Icon award.
